A perfect 4th

What a wonderful 4th of July we were able to enjoy. We had remarkable weather for St. Louis, it only got up to 83 degrees and no trace of humidity. We took advantage of this small miracle and spent the entire day outside. The VP parade held in downtown St. Louis was the first item on our agenda. The kids loved the candy...shocker. After the parade we headed over to some friends for an amazing BBQ with 4 other families and ate ourselves silly...I loved it! That night we headed to a strip of grass to watch the fireworks. The kids loved the time waiting for the show as they just played more games with their friends. At the end of the day we were very fulfilled and exhausted. We really couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. We feel so fortunate to live in such a wonderful place...God Bless America!

Kohl and me

I am ready to pop...just 8 days to go!

Is there anything cuter?

More waiting, this time for fireworks.

Kohl passed the time away with a game of 500.

The End

Good, so that means only 8 more days until I am planted on your couch, smelling your baby's yummy neck. Can't wait.

Lori, you look fantastic!! I'm so excited for you all and the pending new arrival. I'm thinking of you while we were here on Oahu. Remember when we hitch hiked with Kendal and rode in the back of the truck? Good times.
