mejores amigos

Our cute Argentine neighbors are leaving us and the loss is going to crush all the kids, but Chase especially. The two boys come bounding into the house on a daily basis and then chaos ensues. Three boys is always tricky...fighting is just par for the course.

All of our Easter doings

This was a basket full of cute cookies our dear friend made and brought over, they were too cute to eat...for a day at least.
This is what Chase did celebrate the day...don't worry he is jamming to the MoTab!
This one hit his 9 month mark on Easter.
Coloring Eggs...our buddy Max got to join us for the fun...sorry for the shirtless boys, we didn't want them to ruin their clothes.

The Annual Witt Easter Egg Hunt (only Chase and Drake got to attend as the others were in Omaha).

Sunday was Stake Conference and my mom so kindly volunteered to stay home with our youngest two...2 hours of a live video conference just didn't seem like a good idea for Chase and Drake. So, only our oldest got to donn their new Easter digs. Can't you tell they loved their time at Stake Conference. To ease the pain of hard chairs I took lots of Easter candy...it was only for them, I swear:)

Welcome Cora!

The kids have a new cousin and we couldn't be happier for the Zaugg Family!

bread continued...

So I had to give a little update about my bread...these are the same loafs from the first post...just sunken and depressed. I completely undercooked them and they deflated soon after I took that first picture. They were completely doughy in the middle, but that didn't stop us from eating them in 30 seconds. I have since made a few more batches and yesterday finally produced loafs that were just right. I am now eating way too much bread!

Made with my own two hands

I was inspired by my friends who have been making their own bread...you know who you all are...
I have to admit that there is a nice sense of accomplishment about actually making something that I usually buy. I made a few mistakes this go-a-round, but my next batch will be perfect.
If you are feeling up to trying your own bread making skills, try this recipe.
