What a few minutes of Oprah will do

The kids happened to catch a few minutes of Oprah the other day. It was about miracle children and if you saw it you know what reduced us all to serious tears. Kohl is my extra sensitve child and was really affected by the story of the baby who died after living 99 days. I think it hit too close to home with a 3 month old baby in our home.

Sorry for the undie shot, but I couldn't resist. Believe it or not Chase will only wear his underwear backwards... I think he likes the big Spiderman picture in the front where he can see it. To be 3 again.

Trunk-o-Treat

So we had our yearly Trunk-o-Treat at church last Friday and had a great time. Chase won Best Costume from a Movie as "Jah-Wah" from Star Wars (no idea how to spell that) I must thank Ann as she provided us with the great costume. Kohl won Best Homemade Costume as a warewolf. Brynn was a mermaid, although this isn't the best picture, we will get better ones this Friday. I went as the Karate Kid...I love donning wigs! Dan really wanted to go as Tim Gunn but we just never got enough time to get his costume together and our cute little Drake had to stay home sick...bummer. The candy feast has begun...

What you missed...

There is something you must know, my husband hates being away from home. He had to got to San Fran for a radiology conference and is very sad. So, I wanted him to feel apart of what he missed last night.

Kohl got a haircut, he actually buzzed his own hair(with my help). Then he and Chase played in the tub for a good 45 minutes.

Brynn and Nanna had fun playing duets. She also got everything ready for her fieldtrip to the zoo today.

Drake got a tubby as well and finally figured out how to suck on his fingers for longer than two seconds. He was in paradise!

I didn't get a picture of me, darn. But my night consisted of managing the 4 kiddos, reading a lot of "Peter and the Secret of Rundoon", and then sitting happily in front of the tv to watch the final episode of Project Runway...I thought Korto should have won. I do love that show! Then it was off to bed and a little reading of "Three Cups of Tea" and into dreamworld. The best part of the night was that Drake didn't wake up until 5am...so I got a whole 6 hrs of uninterrupted sleep...wow!

Celebrating 3 months

I can't remember life without him and it was just 3 months ago. We are all so in love with this little one and our entire lives evolve around making him laugh.

Chase wanted to capture a picture of Drake on his 3 month birthday...

Then Kohl had his turn behind the camera, it is so hard to get everyone with their eyes open.

Brynn had her turn as well, love that smile from Kohl!
