Spring Break 2008

We have enjoyed a very fun, relaxing break from school this week and I am sad to have to send the kids back on Monday. The highlight was most definitely the zoo (we actually had a day warm enough to enjoy it).

I had a great Birthday on Friday....lots of love was shown by many and I feel very fortunate!

D.C.

My mom graciously watched the kids for us for a few days as we escaped to D.C. last weekend. Dan had a conference where he had to present and I just wanted to see the nations capitol. There was too much to see in the few days we actually went into the city, but got in as much as we could.

Hair Cuts!

Take a pair of scissors and Brynn thinking her hair was bugging her...you know the story, you walk into the bathroom and see a chunk of hair on the floor and your heart sinks. We have been through this with Brynn 3 times now. When I asked her why she cut her hair after I have repeatedly told her she is never allowed to take the scissors to her hair she replies, "I forgot!" This time the damage was to the front of her hair and I didn't think my beautician skills were enough to fix it. So, I sent her to my friend, a real hair dresser, for her first "real" haircut. The boys were also looking a bit sad, so I bit the bullet and actually paid for 3 kids haircuts.

She begs for a real dog and unfortunately has a really mean mom whom will never let her have one. So we treat our stuffed animals very well around our house.

Global What?

Al has some serious explaining to do. We actually had another snow day yesterday, March 4th!
After living here for 7 years I have never seen snow like this, let alone in March....I want spring and I want it now. Chase is camped on the couch with the flu...poor little guy didn't get to play in the white stuff.
